East Berwickshire U3A is an autonomous body affiliated to the Third Age Trust.

You don't need any qualifications to join and no qualifications are awarded. We organise activities for older people no longer in full time work.

The Annual membership fee for 2016/17 has been set at £15 with an additional charge of £2.50 for the postage of the five U3A magazines to your own home. New members will receive the magazine at no extra cost for the first year. Part of the Annual membership fee pays a 'capitation fee' to the national UK U3A and U3A Scotland to cover insurance costs, the production of the U3A magazines and other support services. The remaining monies collected help to support:

  • invited speakers at our monthly meetings
  • administrative costs

  • hired accommodation for many of the group activities

Many of our members live in or near Eyemouth but we do have members from all over Berwickshire. We provide an opportunity for you to meet like-minded people, to make new friends and try out new pastimes. Do you like forming new friendships and developing new interests? If so, then the East Berwickshire U3A may be just the thing your looking for. Please click on the links on the left for further information.
